The 18th German Association Congress was held from September 26 to 27 at Telekom's capital representative office. This year's motto and highlight: Sustainability. The main topic was: What members expect from assocations in 2022 - how to creaete added value, strengthen sustainability and more efficiency through digitalization. Naturally, only Berlin Cuisine could be considered as a catering partner! Sustainability is not just a trend for us: it is part of our corporate philosophy.
As a Sustainable Partner of the Visit Berlin Convention Office we were delighted to be a sponsor of German Association Congress 2022. We had the opportunity to present Berlin Cuisine and Sustainable Pleasure. Creative Director Food Felix was on stage talking to decisionmakers about sustainability in catering.
The idea of Sustainable Pleasure: We serve dishes in their natural skin. We do it without plates! We present the food in what's normally thrown away: in the hollowed-out cabbage, in the onion skin or in the lettuce leaf. At the congress we served: savoy cabbage and sunflowers. A wheelbarrow on the event floor served as compost.
Zero Waste whetted the guests' appetite for our other sustainable food concepts. Big stage, big honor!
