The German perfume award Duftstars 2018 was held inside the old Berlin Tempelhof airport. The Fragrance Foundation Germany honoured the best perfumes of the year. We had the pleasure of serving up our spectacularly aromatic catering for the occasion. For the around 1,200 guests, we served salmon with horseradish and kaffir lime perfume and nitrogen-frozen dragon popcorn. The post-dinner cuisine turned international with specialities from Hawaii, Asia, Mexico, Italy and Germany. Behind every food station: a fog cannon that fired off the “scent of the big wide world” – in keeping with the motto of this year’s award ceremony.
