It is the most important award for filmmakers in Germany: the Deutscher Filmpreis, the so-called Lola, was awarded for the 75th time in Berlin at the beginning of May. More than 1,400 guests from the worlds of film, culture, politics and the media celebrated the winners of the Lola at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz. The main winner of the evening was the film September 5 by Tim Fehlbaum, which was honored with nine awards.

We are delighted that we were able to accompany this evening with a purely vegan menu. We sent the following nominees into the race in the Vegan Food Trends category: Italys Finest, pasta with peas and basil; the Berlin Burger, our BC Slider with plucked king oyster mushrooms, coleslaw, apple compote, Spreewald cucumber and roasted onion mayo. Various bowls that we served on the first and second floor of serving trolleys - including the Brandenburg Bowl with wild broccoli, cucumber and sweet potato and the Green Garden Bowl with marinated small potatoes, young peas and two types of asparagus. Also on the list of nominees: a Tartin Noir, a freshly baked coal bread with marinated celery, chives and truffle. As dessert, we served a layered almond sponge cake with Belgian chocolate and coffee buttercream as well as a vegan strawberry cheesecake with berry espuma and freeze-dried raspberries.

We would like to thank the Deutsche Filmakademie for their trust and cooperation in one of the most important cultural events of the year.
