IKEA Midsommar at Malzfabrik 2025

38 degrees, bright sunshine, and around 750 guests. The perfect setting for a summer party that belongs outdoors. Together with IKEA, we transformed the meadow next to the Malzfabrik into a culinary festival. Two GIANT BBQ stations, a colorful food market, fresh strawberry punch, and an atmosphere that felt like a mini vacation.

 

The focus was on our BBQ classics. Tender roast beef from the smoker, juicy chicken legs with lime gremolata, and hickory pork with honey mustard marinade. Alongside this were grilled vegetables, halloumi skewers, watermelon steaks, and our No Bratwurst for vegan guests. There were also crisp salads, sauces, and bread from the organic bakery. Another highlight was the summery fresh bowls. The poke bowl with marinated salmon, pineapple, and edamame or as a vegan version with sweet potato ceviche. The soft ice cream station was the crowning glory of the evening. Bourbon vanilla with pumpkin seed oil and sea salt or dark chocolate with salted caramel and popping candy.

 

The combination of weather, guests, and food concept made this day a real summer moment.
