In August 2018, Adidas unveiled the new jerseys of FC Bayern Munich at ewerk Berlin. There was something very special about these jerseys. In cooperation with the initiative “Parley for the Oceans”, FC Bayern had the jerseys manufactured from recycled rubbish salvaged from the Pacific Ocean. The goal was to draw attention to the urgent need to increase global sustainability. The jersey presentation took place as part of the club’s own “Tango League”, a football tournament for young up-and-coming footballers. While the heat was on in the football cage, Berlin Cuisine provided authentic street foods such as burgers, tacos, sandwiches and wraps to feed players, spectators and media partners.
