Spotlight on: an evening full of elegance and innovation. This is exactly what the finale of the 2-day ZEISS Vision Convention 2023 for 2500 guests at Kraftwerk Rummelsburg on October 19 offered. Planned by our key account manager Nina and trend factory, we realized an unforgettable gala dinner in a tent set up especially for the event on the premises of the Kraftwerk.
The kick-off took place the day before in the Velodrom with our 'Stadium Pleasure' concept, which offered an international culinary variety at numerous food stations. But the real culinary highlight of the congress and especially for us was the dinner at Kraftwerk Rummelsburg – family style at its finest.
The starter was an absolute eye-catcher – creamy pumpkin soup with coconut spuma, served in the pumpkin itself. The following main courses included succulent braised short ribs, tender chicken with Brandenburg chimichurri and aromatic oyster mushrooms. These were accompanied by side dishes such as baked potatoes, beets in various textures and a salad of old tomatoes, pickled onions and roasted pistachios, marinated with passion fruit dressing. The final course was the Dôme au Chocolat – a taste explosion of the finest chocolate, juicy peach and aromatic vanilla.
