On 4th September 2024, the Netflix Producers' Summit took place at Motorwerk Berlin: Around 350 producers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland came together to discuss what viewers want to see in the future and how the industry can get the best out of the German-speaking entertainment world.
Berlin Cuisine accompanied the event with a food concept that matched the modern and urban Berlin flair of the summit: “Berlin Based - Contemporary Taste”. Street food stations and food trucks formed the centerpiece to offer guests a dynamic, contemporary experience that combined both sustainability and creativity.
The live salad station served fresh Caesar salad straight from the Parmesan wheel. At the potato station, the Garden All Stars served creamy mashed potatoes with parsley emulsion, smoked salsa, sugar snap peas, crispy peas, furikake and garden cress. Alternatively, porcini - creamy mashed potatoes with porcini cream, parmesan sauce, sliced mushroom and truffle - was served.The Sustainable Kebab Station offered both our celeriac kebab and braised country chicken in flatbread. We also served pinsa variations with amalfi lemon or air-dried ham. Special: the kohlrabi food truck, which picked up on the theme of “sustainability” with Cacio & Pepe in kohlrabi noodles - served, quite sustainably, in a hollowed-out kohlrabi. The sweet finale was the “Berliner Luft”, an airy raspberry and meringue combination.
