At the Alte Münze, we had the privilege of partnering with the VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry) to support the Mobility Innovation Summit 2026 and provide the culinary experience for the MINS Night, the evening program on the first day of the event. Following an intensive and inspiring first day of the summit, this event offered the perfect setting to continue the momentum in a relaxed atmosphere, engage in conversation, and make new connections.
To kick off the evening, guests were treated to a diverse selection of small plates featuring finely balanced pairings such as juniper-smoked Pomeranian beef, trout with horseradish and spiced bread, and Leipziger Allerlei with asparagus and peas. The opening was complemented by appetizers served in glasses, including a shrimp cocktail with caviar and frisée, a Caesar salad with chicken and Parmesan, and young vegetables with pea hummus and malt crumble, which elegantly kicked off the evening.
As the evening progressed, various food stations provided culinary variety and special highlights. The Braised Beef El Ninjo with crispy chili oil and lettuce was complemented by a vegan version with pulled mushrooms. Classic interpretations such as the Chicken Fricassee 2.0 with truffle and peas, as well as the vegan alternative with confit kohlrabi, showcased modern variations on familiar dishes. With Hokkaido pumpkin, bread dumplings, and Parmesan, as well as saffron risotto and chervil, a vegetarian focus was also established, rounded off by a fudge cake with Black Forest cherry as a sweet finale.
We would like to thank the VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry) for the trusting collaboration and are delighted to have been part of a summit that uniquely combined exchange, inspiration, and culinary excellence.
