A new high-rise for Berlin - and an evening that was just as special as the location itself. For the office-opening at the EDGE Tower, the 35th floor became a stage: flooded with light, full of energy and with a culinary variety that was something to be seen and tasted. 400 guests, curious, in a good mood, with an appetite for more than the standard.
The event got off to a relaxed start on the second floor - with fine finger food and an official opening at which Berlin's Governing Mayor Kai Wegner also took the floor in person. Then: up to the roof terrace - where our street food stations were already waiting. Freshly grilled, prepared live, served directly. Crispy banh mi, poké bowls with sweet potato and pineapple, creamy asparagus risotto straight from the Parmesan loaf. Those who liked it took the chicken kebab. Those who didn't, enjoyed grilled celery with green chili.
Later, soft ice cream - vanilla with pumpkin seed oil or dark chocolate with cardamom and sparkling water. And the highlight that no one could miss: our dragon popcorn, prepared live in liquid nitrogen.
