At the end of March 2025, the traditional Colosseum Filmtheater in Berlin was transformed into a stage for a special moment: the German Hearing Film Award was presented for the 23rd time. Around 400 guests celebrated the medium of film in this accessible form.
In culinary terms, we opted for an open food station concept. At the reception, we served tender roast beef from Simmental beef on roast potato cream, a fresh North Sea prawn tartare on roasted sourdough and marinated vegetables with pea hummus and malt crumble in appetizer glasses.
Following the presentation, we offered guests a variety of dishes at four stations: veal boiled beef with jus, spinach cream and a veloutée of Frankfurt green sauce; salmon, freshly carved and served with Korean BBQ sauce, rice salad and kaffir lime cream; a creamy saffron risotto with parmesan espuma; and the “Garden All Stars” - creamy mashed potatoes, smoked salsa, crispy peas, sugar snap peas and furikake.
And for dessert, there was panna cotta with raspberries and hazelnut crunch as well as a vegan coconut cheesecake mousse with passion fruit and peanut crumble.
