All good things come in threes – this was definitely true for us at the German Film Awards 2019. For the third time in a row (learn more about 2018 and 2017) we had the honour of accompanying one of the most important German cultural awards with our flying menus and food stations. More than 2,000 guests gathered in the Palais am Funkturm to celebrate German film. The culinary motto of this year's gala was “sustainability and Levant cuisine”, in other words, enjoying a nice meal with friends. So we served a freshly prepared Levant bowls, poke and risotto. As a special for the film awards we presented our shakshuka “egg-quarium”, our version of an Israeli classic – with a soft-boiled egg, aubergine-tomato ragout, toasted bread and marinated spinach – the guests were thrilled.
