As part of the Gallery Weekend, Kraftwerk Berlin became the stage for the installation “We Felt a Star Dying” by Laure Prouvost - a multi-sensory work on 3,500 m² that combined video, sound, sculpture and light. And we were able to add another dimension to the experience: taste.

 

We served a purely vegan menu for around 1,100 invited guests from the worlds of art, culture, media and business. To start: hummus, herb sour cream and Maldon sea salt. The starter was followed by “Field & Fire” - a tart made from various beets and sunflower. The main course consisted of grilled green asparagus with pea puree, white miso cream and fresh chives. The finale was a flying dessert: plant-based brownie with caramelized walnuts, iced lemon with sorbet, amalfi cream and thyme and pavlova Berliner Luft with coconut espuma, merengue, wild berries and berry coulis.
