An Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider Veloce, a Mercedes-Benz 300 Adenauer Cabrio and a majestic Bentley 8 Liter - three automotive highlights that crowned the finale of the 8th ADAC Landpartie Classic on August 17, 2024. The tour with around 100 classic cars led over two days and 343 kilometers through Berlin, Havelland and Fläming before coming to an end in the Spandau Citadel. The Gothic Hall proved to be the perfect backdrop for the award ceremony.
Berlin Cuisine was responsible for the catering for this evening with historic cars in front of an impressive historical backdrop. The event kicked off with a flying service of selected finger food in front of the Gothic Hall: guests enjoyed dishes including fjord salmon with créme fraîche and citrus, poularde with hazelnut-sate sauce and coriander as well as the vegan highlight - young broccoli with parsley and malt.
Afterwards, a BBQ buffet awaited the guests at the Italian Courtyards: succulent beef ribs from the smoker - our “Candy on Bone” - and Duroc pork neck, halloumi skewers with grilled vegetables and salmon in curry and banana leaf. We also served various salads, rosemary potatoes and our specially created BC BBQ sauce. The finale was a summery dessert: grapefruit with coconut mousse and Peta Zeta - a fizzy drink that created a surprising effect.
Our thanks go to Edgar Sprengel and the ADAC team, who made this extraordinary event possible with their excellent organization and love for old vehicles.
