In the elegant ambience of the International Trade Center, United Nations Development Programme Germany welcomed 100 selected guests to the office opening. To make this opening a very special experience, Berlin Cuisine pulled out all the stops.
Upon arrival, our Flying Menu immediately sparked curiosity: Juicy chicken skewers, accentuated with hazelnut satay sauce and fresh coriander stalks, set the stage. Shrimp in wasabi mayonnaise with puffed rice also impressed not only with its special crunch. However, the true stars of the evening were the appetizers served in glasses: Starting with "Strammer Max” accompanied by potato cream and lamb's lettuce, followed by our Thai salad with cured salmon and an exotic coconut vinaigrette, and culminating with a flavorful wild herb salad — freshness and creativity perfectly aligned here.
For the main course, the tender beef fillet with baked potatoes impressed just as much as the hearty beef goulash, accompanied by crisp spring vegetables, small potatoes, and refreshing lemon sour cream. For a sweet finish, we served two unforgettable desserts: A chocolate brownie, harmoniously paired with airy chocolate mousse, and a cured honeydew melon, exquisitely topped with lime zest and martini jelly.
