At the GALLERY in MAAYA Berlin, we had the pleasure of providing the culinary experience for the ConneXion Tourism Night as part of ITB. The event brought together international guests from the tourism, business, and cultural sectors, creating a stylish setting for networking, socializing, and new ideas.
The dinner began with appetizers served “flying-style,” pre-portioned in small glasses and easily enjoyed while standing. Baby spinach with braised eggplant, salted almonds, ricotta, and watermelon, as well as Thai salad with sweet potato, fresh herbs, and coconut vinaigrette, kicked off the evening and provided a light and fresh start.
As the evening progressed, various food stations invited guests to explore. The Capital Highlight beef burger with coleslaw, apple compote, and roasted onion mayo captured the essence of hearty classics. The IMAM BAYILDI with braised eggplant, onion jam, tomato, and goat cheese added an intense, aromatic touch. The Berlin Mushroom with two types of celery and romaine lettuce complemented the menu with a vegan option featuring a clean structure and depth.
For a sweet finale, we served Death by Chocolate with a moist brownie and light mousse, as well as our BC Raspberry Dream with fruity raspberry mousse. Our “Berliner Späti” also offered a special experience, where guests could individually assemble their own selection of fruit gummies, licorice, and candies, creating a playful, quintessentially Berlin moment.
