With a ribbon-cutting ceremony in January 2025, Nina Englert, Head of BMW Berlin, and Berlin's Governing Mayor Kai Wegner opened the new BMW & MINI showroom. The “Retail.Next” design concept focuses on a unique, modern customer experience and a completely new aesthetic.
Our culinary concept for the reopening united Berlin and Great Britain. In the BMW area, we served Berlin classics in a new interpretation: tender Königsberger Klopse with creamy mashed potatoes, caper sauce and fresh horseradish, crispy meatballs with Pommery mustard and meadow chervil as well as the legendary Berlin currywurst with spicy sauce and crispy potato chips. The offer was complemented by fine finger food - from goat's cheese tartelettes to freshly baked mini pretzels with chive butter. For dessert, we served Kalten Hund BC - a graham cracker tartelette filled with rich chocolate ganache and cookie crumble - as well as Berliner Luft with raspberry and meringue.
A classic British tea time awaited them in the MINI world: cucumber tramezzini with cream cheese and dill, wild mushroom tartelette with tartare and olive oil caviar - served from vendor's trays. Another highlight was our Sunday Roast, veal shank braised on the bone with strong veal jus, lukewarm bean salad and classic mash & gravy. It was served with freshly tapped New England Brown Ale.
