When an international law firm opens its new home, the culinary concept has to be out of the ordinary. For the opening of Hogan Lovells in Berlin, we sent guests on a culinary journey of discovery through the new office – with flying food, live stations, and a bar or two along the way.
We kicked things off with two dishes that left a lasting impression: our Pomeranian beef smoked over juniper wood – tender, juicy, smoked live – and sunflower with root vegetables, herb cream, and a hint of spice. Two signature dishes that immediately caught the attention and whetted the appetite for more. We then opened the food stations. The sushi station offered fresh sushi, while the beef station served intense beef with sweet potato massaman. And those who still had room afterwards could fill it with Dragon Breath popcorn and Komet ice cream confections.
The guests moved freely through the new office, striking up conversations, sampling and discovering. Champagne and a view of Museum Island awaited them on the roof terrace – even though the weather wasn't quite cooperating, the mood remained brilliant.
An evening that shows how well architecture, atmosphere, and cuisine can work together.
Thank you to Dominique Matthée and the Hogan Lovells team for their trust and inspiring collaboration.
