800 guests and an energy that was instantly contagious – the event with the German Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics at STATION Berlin replaced the classic Christmas dinner with a real marketplace feeling. The vibe was relaxed and uncomplicated, with mulled wine slushies in hand and a team dressed as elves providing the necessary twist.
The evening began with a flying start that set the standard: a crispy tartlet with wild mushroom tartare and olive oil caviar, as well as spicy Szechuan chicken with lemon mayo. A favorite was the duck burger in a black brioche bun with a fruity plum emulsion and fried onion furikake, and things got really intense with the “Pine & Dine,” salmon smoked over pine needles on a crisp Waldorf salad. The raclette, served on small potatoes in a strong onion consommé, provided real soul food.
The finale was the “Nitro Snowball,” an ice-cold coconut mousse with cinnamon plums, while the scent of freshly roasted toffee almonds wafted through the hall. An event that replaced Christmas with craftsmanship and a good dose of character.
A big thank you to Laura Henkel and the BME for their trust in this concept and their strong cooperation.
