Capital, Spree, sandy beach: that's what you get at SAGE Berlin. This is where Berliner Bäder-Betriebe celebrated its summer party with around 350 employees this year - and we packed the barbecue to go with it. With a BBQ concept that combined freshness and variety.
Among other things, we served our Pollo al Carbon, a country chicken leg with adobo chili and honey, original Thuringian grilled sausages and the vegan “No Bratwurst” made from pea protein. Served with freshly grilled vegetables such as colorful pointed peppers, corn on the cob and zucchini as well as side salads such as tabouleh with pomegranate seeds, Mediterranean pasta salad with vegetables, olives, capers and sun-dried tomatoes or crunchy country cucumber salad with sour cream and fresh dill.
A centerpiece of the evening: the burger station. There was the capital beef burger with tender beef, crunchy coleslaw and Spreewald cucumber as well as the vegan version with plucked king oyster mushrooms.
The finale was dessert with two special highlights: the “Death by Chocolate” brownie with creamy mousse and preserved fruit and the vegan “BC Raspberry Dream” with raspberry mousse and marinated berries.
